Is there going to be a new Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie?

Question

I heard that they make another Buffy movie with the cast from the t.v. show except someone else will play Buffy. Does anyone know if this is true or not. If it is who will the new Buffy be?

SMG has talked at length about not being involved in anymore Buffy-related projects. She wouldn't even lend her voice to the Buffy animated series back when Joss was still trying to get that produced. She felt the show was risking getting long in the tooth and thought it best to "go out on top". I think now she's trying to get away from the whole Buffy-thing. I think the rest of the cast would be willing to do it.

There have also been reports of hard feelings and dissolving friendships among the cast.

besides even if they did it wouldn't be the same with out SMG I mean if someone else was playing xander it might be a little diffrent but she is buffy u know I don't think it would be good

Well, there already WAS a movie, remember.

And Joss Whedon is too busy with Dollhouse to make a movie now.

And a lot of the cast doesn't want to. 'Specially SMG.
