Is there going to be a sequal to Band of Brothers?

I have heard for a while that they were going to make a sequal of the HBO hit series Band of Brothers. Is this true? I heard they were going to film it on WWII again but on how they fight against the Japanese instead of the Germans.

  1. Yes its true.  The exact date hasn't been announced yet but "The Pacific" is supposed to come out sometime in 2009.
