The new season starts in October. There's supposed to be a one-off new episode this month too, to promote the Playboy themed movie 'House Bunny.'

On Monday, August 18th, they are gonna have a special promotion of the Girls’ new movie with Anna Farris, the House Bunny. As of right now, the next season is gonna start in October of this year. There are going to be 20 episodes with the first 4 being packaged with the season 4 DVD set. That way both seasons 4 and 5 will have 16 episodes in the set. Also, the girls have stated that they want to take a "break" after season 5 and work on their own shows. Holly with an America's Next Top Model show and Bridget as a hostess on a show on the Travel Channel.
