Is there gonna be another newer update for ipod touch than 2.0?

Is there gonna be a newer update for the ipod touch, i mean newer than 2.0? Or does everyone have to pay to update now?

Coz i was wondering, if i dont buy the 2.0 update will i be stuck with my version forever until i pay? Or is there a free update coming up?

there will probably will be an update for 2.0. but they will not make you pay again. they just made you pay since it was giving you the app store.

You can actually update to 1.1.5 if you are on 1.1.4. Not much of a difference though, it's just a debugged version of 1.1.4.

But if you want to install all those apps and games, you will have to pay for the 2.0 update, for now anyway.

There is a new version that just came out like today that is 2.0.1
