neither group likes anyone who is not a clone. they just dont understand it. chavs and emos are too different so in most cases they would hate each other. but not all the time, some are more open minded than other but are still part of their group

emos cant understand why they like to dress in naf sport gear

and chavs cant understand why they like to dress in black

emos hate chavs attitudes and the way they talk

and their very loud attitude

chavs hate emos being 'depressed'

etc.

im exaggerating the hate a bit but thats the main reasons

yeah, chavs hate emos and everyone who isnt a chav hates chavs.

this is just general though as i know of many chav/emo friendships

Where have you been for the past 20 years? There has been a HUGE divide in the culture of kids which has existed long before the term 'chav' and 'emo' were thought up, although we called 'chavs'  'townies' back in the day - a old fashioned take on the whole 'urban' thing which is silly coz we all live in urban areas really. Chav with it's affinity with either dance music or hip hop and "Emo" which is now the LAZY, NON-DESCRIPT catch all term that used to be either Punk, Mod, Indie, Grunge, Alt rock, or Goth. have totally seperate cultures and are so far apart they are two different worlds. Kids who are into rock can get through a wjhole life without ever really knowing anyone who might be described as a chav and vice versa. They will always be apart and very little mixing has ever occured.

Yes, because 'Chav's' don't like the fact some 'Emo's' wear make up, and listen to heavy depressing music, and 'Emo's' hate Chav's because Chav's take the mick outta them.

It is heavily exaggerated, because I know plenty of Chav/Emo friendships.
