Is there help for reserve marines who need a job and a place to live?

I have moved out of state and my son who has joined the marines but as a reserve is having a hard time finding a job and a place to stay in so. california. If anyone has any information please let me know. Thanks! He says he has already contacted his sgt. but found out nothing, but i'm not so sure, I think maybe he is too embarrassed to ask.

he might as well go active if he is already living in So. California...if not that then just have him become a cop it should be easy for him since hes in the military thats what i plan to do
