Is there help(funding) to make my home handicapped accessible? ramps, shower, etc? It's expensive but a must

I'm currently in the process of moving to Missouri from Tennessee so that I can be with loving and caring family members so that I'll no longer be alone. I am a 52 year old female who has MS that has progressed to being non-ambulatory but I'm NOT DEAD yet...lol I want to live my life to the fullest and with God's blessings I will.

The Americans with Disabilities Act allows for assistance to home or business owners who want to make changes to structures to make them more accessible.  Your doctor may have info on how to access this money, or be able to tell you who to ask about it.  You can also try looking on the ADA website www.ada.gov.
