We all know about Leviticus 20:13; but was the ever a de facto law of the land?

  1. The restrictions on actually carrying out a death sentence were so stringent that a court that did so more than once in 70 years was considered bloody.

    I don't know if any were carried out for that particular reason, but capital punishment for *any* reason was extremely infrequent.


  2. Since the Hebrews wrote it about themselves doesn't that make it historic?
