Is there hope for vista???

Question

ever since my first windows system i have had countless problems but i ve managed to get passt it. but now i decided to try vista...i have heard of all the junk being said about vista but i had to see it to belive...so i got one. but it has way to many flaws...hardware incompatabilifg, more glitchs, the only improvement if any is the way it looks as in theme.. ive always said microsoft will fix vista but nothing...will there be improvemets...or do i have to return to xp? oh and i never tried macs or linux curious about linux.

well. i suggest you should go back to xp. i'm using vista and i'm just trying to live  with its bull***s.

I have never run anything besides vista,(I started one year ago)I have since bought a another higher power PC (Quad core) so I don't know any better.

One thing I say though....I run into many frustrating problems that you can't tell are hardware or software.It is like "Oh no...another problem now"

It is a learning exp. for me,If I get into a problem I don't know how to diagnose or fix....I find it usually on this forum or I call HP support.

Omg im sorry but vista is so so crappy, BELEIVE ME.  Vista is overprotective and it is very complicated to download things.  Not to mention that when you actually get a virus, its harder to remove.  I like to describe vista as an "overprotective father", because that how it operates.    It wont let you do certain things, makes things complicated, and makes your life miserable.

My advice, go back to XP.

Oh, and an Apple computer is one of the best if not the best hardware in the world.  They design the worlds smallest computer, and now there computers are all in the size of a monitor.  Just letting you know if u ever consider a mac.

honestly  ? i dont think there wil be  much hope for vista  its just an in between system  between xp  and windows 7  

much  like windows 2000  was   but then again windows  2000  is still a good  system  cant say that for vista   ..not with a straight  face  anyway  

yes  vista wil sell  yes it wil sel in  large number  because  its either preinstalled or the  buyers who buy new pc's  are clueless

in australia  hp   delivers  new pc's  with  xp  no matter what the license  sticker may claim  

some people wil like vista  some  wil stick with  xp  

if you like xp  and prefer it over vista  move  back  

just because vista is out  it doesnt mean  xp wil die tomorro wi can stil run  08 software on  my  windows 2000  and  win 2k is  9 years old by now  

as far a slinux  goes  

its  apain in the *** and  by no means ready for prime time  if  you are adamant how ever  look for ubuntu or its  spin off kubuntu  xubunut or linux mint
