  1. I know of a lady who has a son with "mosaic down syndrome". Even doctors and nurses in the hospital could not tell by looking at him that he had down syndrome


  2. ppl with very mild down's syndrome can look very normal indeed - just a little "oriental" around the eyes, where ppl will ask if there is chinese or japanese ancestry many generations back, kinda thing.

    but if the down's syndrome is that mild, there isn't much of a problem anyway - they live perfectly normal, independent, and productive lives; they just need to be vigilant with their health.

    if you're asking because of a specific concern, just get the baby's DNA analyzed instead of sweating yourself over it.
