  1. Typically, yes, especially with regards to senseless random violence.

    Try this book:

RANDOM VIOLENCE: How WE TALK ABOUT NEW CRIMES AND VIOLENCE. By JOEL BEST (Berkeley: University of California Press, 1999. xv + 242 pp. L11.50 pb)

Other than that, I couldn't find a one-stop shop for any comparative analysis, but I am sure it exists.

  2. No other country produces so many weird & depraved movies as the US does that`s for sure. So it`s less

  3. It depends on the country. I got this from a French film (La Heine) and from my French instructor: In France there is no censorship, and so the violence, s*x, and assaults is worse than in America with so much bleeps. It only seem like America has a bucket full of violence on Television because in many countries, some I have traveled to, either has Zero Television Access, or Zero Television stations. They use Satellite Dishes and get their Broadcasts from the US.
