  1. I dont think it does but just reading the ingredients labels help

  2. I'm not sure.why don't you read the label in the back

  3. No barbecue sauce contains no meat.  Before it was ever bottled Kraft sold a packet of dry spices that the customer mixed with cooking oil.  The popularity of home grilling that took place in the 1950s led  that company to begin mixing the ingredients with oil at the factory and selling it as a bottled sauce. Today there are dozens of brands in the supermarket.  Check the ingredient label on any store bought sauce to be sure that is contains vegetable oil and not animal fat.

  4. i dont know about barbeque sauce

but steak sauce has anchovies in it!

so you might wanna check the label just incase!

  5. no there is not

  6. HELLO! well i dont think there is meat in barbeque sauce but it could be possible.

  7. Unless some meat or meat by product was mixed into the sauce (commercial or home made), then no. A favorite of mine is 1 cup Tabasco and one cup cider vinegar. Obviously, no meat in it. Another is soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, and a bit of sugar or honey as baste. Again, no meat.

  8. I use BBQ sauce all the time, and I don't think it has animal products in it.. It's mostly tomato, vinegar, and some spices.. check the ingredients.. Most likely,  it's fine

Just get a bottle from the katsup/mayonaise/etc aisle of the grocery store

I LOVE to pour a bunch of it in a non stick-skillet with immitation ground beeef, add a tiny bit of water to thin the sauce ever-so-slightly, a nd heat until bubbling.. the BEST sloppy joes EVER..

  9. They may use meat extracts (bones, gristle and maybe other stuff). I think the best method is to prepare your own. It's really very simple - here's a basic recipe:

    INGREDIENTS:

    1 8-ounce can tomato sauce

    1 6-ounce can tomato paste

    2 tablespoons brown sugar

    2 tablespoons vinegar

    2 tablespoons olive oil

    3 cloves garlic, crushed

    1/2 cup onion, thinly sliced

    1/2 cup onion, thinly sliced

    2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

    1 teaspoon dry mustard

    1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Coarsely ground black pepper, to taste

    PREPARATION:

Heat olive oil in medium pan.

Add onion and garlic, saute on medium high heat until onion is soft and transparent.

Add remaining ingredients, mix thoroughly and allow to simmer for about 20 minutes.

You can store the sauce in an airtight food saver container until needed.

  10. No, bbq sauce consists of ketchup with brown sugar [pretty much]. So, no meat, just tons of sugar.

  11. Normally there is none, but be careful because I have had things like BBQ beans in which they have added meat to enhance the flavor. Normally the sauce is a mixture of tomato sauce, vinegar and other ingredients.
