  1. They do, just not in the US.  If you don't mind listening to Korean, you can find the matches online pretty easily if you google it.

  2. Yes, there is men's and women's Judo and TKD.  MMA is a new sport and has a long way to go before it is included in the Olympics.  It is not even currently recognized as a sport by the IOC yet, so it cannot even be considered for conclusion yet.  Karate is a recognized sport, but as of yet has not been included in the games.

Just because Judo isn't popular in the US doesn't mean that it isn't popular overseas.  Based on countries with Judo programs, it is the #2 sport in the world, second only to soccer.

I have to wonder, why is it that people seem to feel that just because a sport isn't popular in the US that it should not be in the Olympics and that sports that are primarily popular in the US but not popular overseas (Baseball, Softball, MMA) should be included?

MMA simply isn't popular outside of the Americas and Asia, so it will be a long time before MMA will be included.  Besides, there are major obstacles for including MMA.  Look at the differences that Olympic boxing has with Professional boxing.  The same changes and probably more would have to be included for MMA to be viable as an Olympic sport.

  3. There's men and women's judo and TKD in the Olympics.  It's not on TV because those sports are not as popular in the US, plus, we're getting WHUPPED in Judo.   Well, we did get one bronze.

TKD is on the 20th.  I hope we do better.

  4. Judo and TKD Olympics are on tv. TKD is on Aug. 19-23. I think Judo is on right after it.
