  1. You get in at 9pm ... if the flight is on time.   Then you pick up your luggage and clear customs.  Then you may have to take a bus to the Metro station.  You'll be lucky to be on the train by 11pm.  The Metro doesn't run all night.  At some point it shuts down; I think it's around midnight.

    You would be better off making a reservation with the Blue Shuttle which will take you directly to the address you're going to... no wandering around Paris in the wee hours trying to find the hotel.  It will cost 30 euros but it may be worth it.

  2. it's quite easy to go to Paris by public transports.

    as siestos said, you take the "RER B" train.

    i give you the weblink (in english, m'dam) , you'll have schedules and fares, and other informations :

    http://www.ratp.fr

    --> click on the british flag (on right)

    --> in the menu "Discover Paris", choose "Airports" and the "All the entrances"

    --> you'll click on "CDG"

    --> and finally on "RER B" (if you want schedules after 12.00 pm, click on "Noctilien").

    RER B is safe, if you want to be sure, just take a RER B with no stops between CDG and Paris.

    i give you the website of blue shuttle, but i didnt find any schedule after 8.00 pm...

  3. yes there is the " R E R B" which is a very fast metro . you will take it (direction Saint-Remy les Chevreuses ) and you will arrive in downtown Paris few minutes after . i don't the cost but it will be probably about 5 euros . (not sure) .
