Is there more than 3 dimensions? if so, how would they look?

special relativity uses 4 dimensional space-time.

general relativity uses more dimensions. you pays your money and you takes your frame of reference.

i do communications work where we work with infinite-dimension signal spaces.

other theories say, infinite number...

each action/choice one would make, would create another dimension where we took the other choice...like one day i drove this way, i was in a car wreck, where as if i went the other way, i was not....the experience/trauma i gained would not be experienced in the other scenario...so the "two" Me's would not be the same...

Also, there is the theory of the supper cube, an infinite sided cube that is in the 4th dimension....

in theory, our universe has 11 dimensions. our universe has 4 proven dimensions.

1.length

2. width

3. depth

4. time

5. alternate paths of time when 4th dimension is folded

6. infinite possibilities for the folding of time when the 5th dimension is folded.

7. infinity itself.

8. the infinite amound of possibilites that exist in each infinite possible paths of time.

9. the bending of infinity to a greater number. commonly refered to as "super infinity".



the last 2 dimensions are argued upon. some think that they are a continuation of time and infinity while others think that they have to do with rips in spacetime. the string theory talks about 11 dimensions as well. the dimensions i listed above are the dimensions that make the most sense to me. some are actually from a couple different theories, and i combined some to fit my personal viewpoints on the universe.

Well we already live in what is called 3+1Dimensions. Time being the forth dimension. Gravity is also considered dimensional by scientists.

Many theories say there are. String theory has 11 dimensions. as for how they would look, well you wouldn't be able to see them since you can only percieve 3.  a 4 diminsional being would be able to poke you in the liver without touching your skin the same way you can poke the "inside" of a 2 dimensional circle without touching the edge.
