Is there much highway patrol on highway 40?

I'm driving to Wikieup, Arizona from Long Beach, California. It takes an estimated 5 hours going by speed limit, but I'd like to get there faster by speeding without getting a ticket. Are there lots of highway patrol or airplanes taking pictures on highway 40 or any other highway on the way there? Or is there a website where I could check something like that out?

It only takes one Cop to give you a ticket.  Keep that in mind even if you find out that it is lightly patrolled.

I've found the best way to speed without getting caught is to be alert to traffic patterns, both in front of you and especially to oncoming traffic.  If a cop driving in oncoming traffic, lots of times you can see oncoming traffic slowing down or just going slower for no apparent reason - usually a dead giveaway that a cop is around somewhere.  

Also, driving 10-15mph over will get you there almost as fast (or faster) than driving 20+mph over because you'll dramatically lower your chances of getting a ticket (which costs you time and money) and you'll run into less slower moving traffic running 10-15 over.

Radar detectors are overrated too - most of the time all they do is tell you that you're about to get a ticket IMO.

Ask yourself - how much time will I save by increasing my speed and what is that worth to me?..And if I get pulled over, what will it cost in time and money to take care of the citation?...(It has to be resolved in the county where the ticket was issued.)

Try this as an alternate route - 91E to the 215N to the 10E to US 60E to US 89/93 in Wickenburg turn left (first intersection after crossing underneath RR tracks), stay on US 93 to Wikieup...See Google or MSN maps.

I have been pulled over on the 40 many many times. They use radar so get yourself a radar detector. The answer to your question is YES.

yeah if your thinkin of running some illegal stuff then dont speed. its that simple.

did you know if you speed you waste gas?

and why waste gas this means you would have to stop for gas

more and we know gas doesnt grow on trees!

and is very high why waste gas you will get there

safe and in one piece if you just obey the speed limit

why rush the city wouldn't be going anyway!
