Is there much money to be made in Reiki and Life Coaching?

The reason I ask is that the course costs are a huge amount, you have got to decide wether its a good investment or not! its not because im in it for the money!

In some situations, yep.  If not, the Provider should be seeking to help society and not rob people of money but enough to make a living.  As the saying goes: Do what you love and money will follow.

If you keep looking, you will find courses that are not vastly overpriced.

For treatment, you are paying for time.  It's not that the Reiki itself is costly,  but the practitioner's time is valued at so much per hour.  Fair enough, I think.

I study NLP which stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming!

Do that i would say, rather than life coaching..its far more effective and will eventually put common therapists out of business! because its QUICK!

I sorted a mates phobias recently in 15 mins totally sorted!. i charge £30 per hour and £10 per phobia! but making  a name for myself hasnt been easy!

I don't know where you are, but the few who do it where I live, complement it with other things. So, it looks that it is not enough by it self. Now, let me give you my experience with reiki. I didn't believe in it , but, being open minded about every thing, I tried once. I was feeling very bad after a major operation. I wasn't expecting anything. And it was great! I couldn't believe how much better I felt after wards. Now, I do it once a month, and some times works better than other times. I congratulate for you good intentions and I wish you good luck.  I just checked your questions and answers, and saw the one about being a hypnotherapist. Have a very, very good friend who does it, and is doing very well. She is 25, and she was renting space at the academy where they teach  it and she got her accreditation and she just rented her own office now. Would you like to get in contact with her?

If you are thinking of doing this profession as a career, you need to  choose another one if your only interest is the money! If you are just curious then I guess that like all alternative methods of treatment you will find some good honest practitioners and others who are less honest.

too much. People without conscience can milk the gullible without penalty in our tolerant society!
