I'm only 19 and the world seems to crashing down already. Our current president has pretty much turned our country into a sh*thole, I don't support either new candidate, our economy is sunk, several animals are becoming extinct and the government doesn't seem to give a d**n, our consumerism has brought on global warming, kids are becoming more and more materialistic, trash TV is no longer ironic.

I wish I can do something but, honestly, what can I do? I'm not going to vote and support someone I don't believe in, I recycle, I volunteer for environmental/animal groups. I think I'm going to get a hysterectomy so I don't bring more kids into this messed up world.

  1. your right, those who are starting to wake up to things around them, are figuring out that presidential politics are rigged, and everyone just shruggs it off, its a sign of the times that people are sheep.... were busy monitoring our 401k's and not turning off our tv's to spend quality time with our families or enjoying nature or volunteering for good causes, we've been brainwashed from the media to have "things", Suv's, cellphones, blackberry's, ipods, HD TV's, were never satisfied, we need to be de-programmed.

  2. It's happening everywhere. I'm the UK and I could say the exact same thing. Our Government is a complete load of c**p, nobody can affrord to buy anything be it food, petrol, houses, clothes. To make it even worse, the minorities have power. Everything's turned so politically correct, there's no point in leaving your house! I could say "Hello" to somebody and find myself arrested for racism. Everyone's being stabbed as well. Don't worry, it's happening to us all.

  3. The world needs more people that think like you do, so have at least ten kids just like yourself! Use depro-vera and have multiple births! There's always divine intervention!

  4. The only hope seems to be God's promised redemption. I believe Dr. Seselj from Serbia is Moshiach Ben Yoseff and Zhirinovsky from Russia is Moshiach Ben David. I hope, please God, that I am right.

  5. il faut cultiver notre jardin

  6. You can never lose hope.

I remember when I was younger I used to see the world as you did. The world seemed so full of problems and many people were predicting the end of time.

When I was a young teenager, I can remember everyone talked about nuclear war. It seemed Russia was h**l bent on taking America off the map. It seemed hopeless to even think or plan a future because there might not even be one.

Inflation was completely out of control then too. The term "latch key kids" came about because many women had to go to work and help support the family. Many people blamed that on women choosing to work because of equal rights. It was actually because 2 income families were necessary to keep up with inflation.

Oil was a major concern then as it is now. The arab oil embargo and the doubling of the price of gas over night led many to believe we would be running out in no time.

Drugs and sexual freedom were thought being expressed by teenagers. Kids felt they were owed the freedom to choose a sexually active life coupled with drugs. Teen pregnancy was higher then than it is now.

I could go on and on with the hopeless condition of the world then. I saw it then much like you see it now.

But the world has so much hope now. We seem to lose sight of things that make this such a wonderful place to live. Many diseases that once killed people can be treated, allowing people to live happy and fulfilling lives. Some diseases have completely been eradicated.

We also live in a time where we can communicate with people all over the world in real time. Information is available to us right at our finger tips. We don't have to rely on outdated books and watered down information to reach us by print.

We are also seeing a time when teen pregnancy rates are lower than before. Kids are more aware of drugs and are choosing not to do them. The percentage of smokers is at an all time low.

If you look around you there are so many things to give us hope. News papers and TVs are always happy to share doom and gloom. It sells.

  7. People killed by natural disaster should die anyway, if not many others will die of starvation, it is good that do not want more children, as food is getting scarce, animals are extinct to satisfy human need for more living space. Humans are the main source of carbon dioxide emissions as the world population soars. There is very little things that you can do, as you grow older you can only be more negative and resigned.

  8. WAIT FOR A DECADE AND SEE THE RESULTS.THAN THERE IS NO HEADING BACK.HEY DO YOUR BEST LIKE ME.ATLEAST WE WILL HAVE SOMETHING GOOD TO SAY ON THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT.PLANT SOME TRESS.ABT 25 A YEAR IS ENOUGH TO COVER YOUR SINS.NEIHER WILL I BRING SOME KIDS IN THIS WORLD.WE THINK THE SAME.

  9. Our education system is crashing also.

    We're all screwed.

  10. yes indeed very sad...its even sad for the 3-4 year olds who still have to enjoy the youth of their lives......i blame the love for money and power for the wrath we live in today

  11. Pray for the best.

  12. i think its getting to the stage where we can just expect the unexpected, its becoming the norm, are they blind,or do they know something we dont, silly question.you,we,cant do anything, except hope for the best, and hope that all ends well.peAce.

  13. astropea are you saying that we did this, don't mask it by using french, mange me merde! But yeah our parents really fucked us over, it like getting a car for your birthday, only you find out that it rusted doesn't run well and is full of explosives. I have begun to try and restore the planet by doing away with religions, borders, weapons and mass production. I think it would be a better world.

  14. Have you tryed to look in the Bible for these answers?

The Bible contains reasons why the world is in such a downfall that it is.

We are living in the end times that the Bible speaks about and there in the scriptures you will find out what you can do in order to survive what is coming upon the earth.

Here are some scriptures that perhaps can help explain why no human has been able to bring about the wonderful conditions that God intended for us all.

Please find and read these scriptures, Matthew 24:7: here it speaks about the last days."Nation will rise aganist nation and kingdom aganist kingdom"

As foretold at Revelation 6:4,'peace was taken away from the earth.' Thus the world has continued to be in a state of upheavel ever since the last world wars, things have only been getting worse.

Matt. 24:7: "There will be food shortages...in one place after another"

Are we not seeing more of these event's on the news today? all over the world these conditions are worseing are they not?

Think of weather conditions around the world that is affecting our food crops and water shortages due to drought conditions, this is even happening in our own country.

The Bible foretold all these event's, but still many denie that the Bible and the word of God does not exist!

"The improvement in living standards and the growing demand for food around the world have put pressure on food prices, making it harder for the poorest countries to import their food needs."

In many lands the production of food, even with the aid of modern science, has not been able to keep pace with the increase in total population.

Modern food experts see no real solution to the problem.

"In one place after another pestilences" (Luke 21:11)

At the close of the first world war the Spanish flu swept around the globe, claiming upwards of 20 million lives and at a rate unparalleled in the history of disease.  Despite advances in medical science, a heavy toll is exacted every year by cancer, heart disease, numerous sexually transmitted diseases, multiple sclerosis, malaria, river blindness, and other diseases.

Also "Increased lawlessness accompanied by a cooling off of love on the part of the greater number' (Matt. 24:11,12)

The lawlessness referred to in the prophecy includes contempt for the known laws of God , a placing of self instead of God at the center of one's life.  As a result of this attitude, divorce rates are skyrocketing, s*x outside marriage and homosexuality are widely accepted, and tens of millions of abortions are performed every year.  Such lawlessness is associated (in Matthew 24:11,12) with the influence of false prophets, those who set aside God's Word in favor of their own teachings.  Heeding their philosophies instead of holding to the Bible contributes toward a loveless world. (1 John 4:8) also read the description of it at 2 Timothy 3:1-5.

Please also read these scriptures for these will explain even further why.

    "Luke 21:25,26.

    Matthew 24:9; Matthew 24:14.

To what do all these events of "the  last days point?

Luke 21:31,32: "When you see these things occurring, know that the kingdom of God is near [ that is, the time when it will destroy the present wicked world ad itself take full charge of earth's affairs]. Truly I say to you , This generation will by no means pass away until all things occur." ( The "generation" that was alive at the beginning of fulfillment of the sign is now well along in years.  The time remaining must be very short.  World conditions give every indication that this is the case.)

For God said he would destroy those ruining the earth and all who oppose him.

So you can see it doesn't matter what man promises, he will never bring about world conditions such as God promised.

Has man ever been able to raise the dead back from the memorial tombs? No.

Has man ever gotton rid of crimes, violence, hate, or healed all mankind from any diesases? No.

Because man does not have the power!

The Bible explains why man is in the trouble that he is in and he does not know the way out.

But if a person truly want out of this system and to make thing's better, all they have to do is read the entire scriptures and come to an accurte knowledge of God's words.

Learn the truth of what the Bible really teaches us.

So dear I hope this information will help explain why thing's are the way they are.

But there is hope as the Bible points out.

So seek the truth and you will find it and it will bring you peace and happeniss.

God wants us to learn of him and he wants us to know the truth that will set us free and bring us everlasting life.

This life he gives us free, if only we will learn how to show him that we love him and accept the truth, he loved us first, so can't we show some apprication for his willingness to allow us to live.

We can show God our apprication by reading and learning what his requirements are, in order to gain this everlasting life.

We have to repent and look for his guidance in how and what we can do to earn his favor.

We must pray for this guidance and not give up hope.

God is our only hope of a better future and to live in a peaceful new world as he intended for mankind.

May Jehovah God guide you to the truth which you will find in the Holy Scriptures.

Just remember, there is hope, but only through God's word and his promises.

But remember their is another out their ready to snatch the truth from you and that is Satan and his demons, cause he doesn't want you to know the real truth.

Just beware of his way of coming in and taking the word of truth away by bringing oppostion and cause you to have doubt.

Learn and become strong in the faith and truth and trust in his instruction.

  15. Jen YA  it is only our arrogance that makes us believe that we are the centre of the Universe, that everything in the Universe is here for us.  Maybe the dinosaurs thought the same and now, look at them.... GONERS. To nature, we are nothing but animals at the top of the pyramid.   Nature has a habit of making extinct those it does not like anymore -- yesterday the dinosaurs tomorrow maybe us. One thing is certain, the human race isn't eternal.  Consider this.... Dinosaurs I think were on this planet for, I think, 400  million years.  Humans only 4 million years. If we are made extinct in the next half a million,  "nobody"  will even remember were around 10 million from now.  So whether there is hope  for us or not, there is but it will depend on us and only us.
