Is there only one iphone? ive been looking on ebay, and there seems to be diffrent ones-8gb,16gb, some say 3g?

some dont say 3G....

What the diffrence between them all? (i understand that 16gb is double the memory of 8gb) but is there any diffrence to the actual phone or how it works?

Theres no difference between the phone. But if there is a difference in gb (gigabytes) GB is how much memory something has. On an ipod 1 gb holds about1,000 songs. As far as the phone goes there is only one iphone and there all the same except for maybe the color. Although they just came out with a new iphone but i don't think its on ebay yet and if it was it would be very expensive.

Yes major difference it is on the 3G network which is much faster for online apps.

ther are 2 main versions of the iphone:_

Original iphone with options of 16GB, 8GB or 4GB memory

Iphone 3G with options of 16GB or 8GB memory.

the 3G has a faster 3G connection and has stereo speakers built in and is slightly thinner at the base and wider, with a  different headphone jack.

They basically look the same and work the same but the 3G.

There is no difference in the phone itself but the price will change and the higher the GB the more memory you will have. So far all i know of is 8, 16 and 32. They have never made a 3GB.

yea it uses the 3g network which is the fastest mobile internet out now. Get it very good phone!!!!! The old iphone is discontinued and only the 3g is out in stores. They only have an 8gb and 16gb and the 16gb comes in white and black color. 8gb is more than enough.

So you already know that 8 gig and 16 gig are only different because of the memory. The difference between iPhones that say 3G and iPhones that are older than that are that 3G improves online browsing and online apps, it makes them go faster and work better. 3G does not mean 3 gigabyte.
