use a wireless router.

setting up the wireless router might get confusing (depending on which one you buy), but after it's set-up, it's easier to use and more reliable than the Wi-Fi USB connector.

If wherever you hooked up the Wii has wireless internet, then the Wii can connect to it. You don't need any extra hardware for it.
