Is there over the counter ear infection medicine?

because this is my second one in like 6 months and i dont have insurance and well yeah is there?

what my grandmother used to do is pour peroxide down me ear. what you could do is go to GNC and buy some candle and what you do, with someones help of course, light it by your ear and its supposed to suck out all the wax and all that from inside.

I can't recommend essential oil of Oregano as it has a constituent called phenol that is very warming and irritates the skin. If it is extremely diluted with a carrier oil like olive or almond, then maybe...but that's your call. I don't use it on my skin directly. If you do get it on your skin and it burns put on any kind of other oil, food grade, and it dilutes the oregano.

# If you puncture a piece of garlic and pour the juice in the ear it will help to take the pain away. Garlic has a natural antibiotic, so use it, and see if it helps.

Tomorrow, if you've got a health food store near you they should have mullein oil (Mullein is a great respiratory herb). rub that all around the area of your ear. Some people have put a drop in their ear but I cannot diagnose that for you here. so try the outside. I've also seen some mullein oils with garlic.

The herb called Goldenrod tincture or capsule herbs (Solidago). It's great for sinus infections specifically to clear out ear congestion. It liquifies mucus.

the only over the counter ear infection medication are homeopathic, go to the pharmacy and ask for similasan ear drops.  my pharmacist uses them for his grand kids and swears by them.

You can get oil of oregano from the healthfood store. A few drops will sooth the ear and it has antibacterial properties. You can also do what they do here in Prague and use a few drops of olive oil and stick a clove of garlic ( also has antibacterial properties)  in your ear ( be careful not to go to deep as to damage your eardrum).
