  1. I'm not even sure Greyhound goes there!  You might need to check with Colorado Mountain Express or something!  Don't mess with RTD!  They don't leave the metro area.

You might need to get someone to pick you up!  Buena Vista is a pretty tiny town in the middle of nowhere.

  2. Sorry, there is no public transportation from the Denver area into Buena Vista (or Salida).  There are also no other scheduled or unscheduled shuttles into the area. I have looked into this exhaustively in the recent past for friends coming into town.

I would suggest a rental car or (it's a long shot) posting for a ride-share on Craigslist.

  3. Your best bet would be greyhound

  4. Public transportation in Denver is really not the best, and one of the reasons is because it's so big that it's virtually impossible to cover it with any kind of public transportation.  I am afraid you would be hard pressed to find anything from Denver to Buena Vista.  It's over 100 miles away.

  5. Google RTD denver and you can it will give you the bus schedule. I use public transportation everday in denver and it is great, I'm not sure if it goes to Buena Vista.
