The conspiracy all started with the assassination of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy. When the government got away with the murder of a President for private interest, the greed of private contractors for the military instigated the Vietnam War. It started a trend of government making strange bedfellows with the private sector on the public finances and treasuries. The government and banking industry is so huge, it now has no one to answer to and just makes up lies and excuses to explain theft, spending and waste. On top of the weakening of the USD, other countries are investing in American debt, NAFTA was a joke as far as FAIR trade agreements, the non-stop influx of new foreigners over populating the country and weakening the inner resources. I'm not judging the people who entered this country illegaly or not, I'm saying there is a threat of over population and a taxing of the resources. The housing/mortgage banking debaucle, the selling of public lands and landmarks to the private sector and the purchasing of fuels and energies at high exorbant costs... well, something has to give! Even the 'euro' has attracted American interest and if the upper class private sector seek payment by euros because of it's non taxed elements. the USD is in serious trouble!! The heavy rotational use of credit/debit cards will almost single-handedly wipe out any use of paper money in five years anyway so that the government will have a way to keep tract of public spending and product purchasing.

I guess there could be, and I wouldn't say that it is unlikely, but I wouldn't say it's so either. You never really know about these things. There's no point in running over these conspiracy theories in your head though, unless you plan to find out and do something about it, because worrying about that stuff will drive you crazy. I would say don't worry about it, if there is such a thing there just is, and no amount of worrying about it is going to change the fact that someone could potentially want to take us down.

That's why it is important for our leaders to assess these threats, determine which ones are actually dangerous, and to take the necessary action to eliminate them.

9/11 was an example of how not to do this.
