Is there really a difference between an intel processor and an AMD?

  1. Intel processors are more widely accepted and are more powerful (most of the time not always) and most people consider them better.


  2. The most significant difference between the two has historically been the method in which they handle memory addressing and instruction sets (commands).  There has been a lot of back and forth as to the performance leader.  Recently, AMD has fallen behind for several generations.  Intel has been delivering the best performance at pricing that has been extremely competitive with AMD and AMD has been suffering, especially when performance is a priority, as in corporate datacenters.

  3. yes intel are faster more depenable  but amd are very good as well and are cheaper then intel.

    Just denpends on who you ask like chevy and ford

    everyone has there own opion

    i have used them both and they are both very good CPUs  If you are a hard core computer intel if you just use it for the internet email then amd is very good .
