  1. some waxes and polishes are better then some. myself, i like either mothers or maguires.

  2. YOU NEED A WAX not a polish.  read the label.  you do get what you paid for.  you'll need one that comes in a can.  and a little elbow grease and do it regularly every three months .  the water needs to "bead up" on your car to know that you are protected !!

while you're at it, put some rain x on the windows too !!

  3. I believe they are mostly the same, but some products are waxes while others are polishes.   Just check the label to see if you prefer a wax or polish.  Generally speaking, a wax provides great shine and protection but will need to be re-applied more frequently than a polish.  Also check your owner's manual to see if you can use a petroleum-based product on your car's finish. Some are petroleum based.    I've used all these types with great success, so I think you may just want to experiment over time to see what you like on your car.  Good luck!

  4. I guess that question would go under the "personal preference" area.

Personally I use "turtle wax" ,only because my grand-dad used it years and years ago.

It will take some elbow grease, but you get a workout and a shinny car!

  5. they r not all the same...some have almost no wax others have 2 or 3 kinds
