    Thats the place where tequila was invented.

    Tequila is located between Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta - about 65 km northwest of Guadalajara. It's in the state of Jalisco which is in western Mexico.

    There are trains that travel to Tequila from the larger cities carrying tourists. Tequila, which processes most of the tequila that is on the market today, offers tours through the many distilleries.  

    Over 200 years ago the drink was invented or 'found' by the natives at that time who were called theToltex.
