I am currently looking for some funding help. I have two kids and a husband. I have always been a hard worker however I have no schooling, so I want to go to school. As everybody may know it is really hard to live off of one income. I keep hearing about all of this free grant money and I actually fell prey to one of those websites. I spent 150 dollars on links to more websites. So if any one knows of a legitimate way to get grant information please help me. Thank you

  1. to apply for grant money to go to college NEVER spend money.  The only legit grant out there is at http://fafsa.ed.gov

It's free to apply and some folks qualify for up to 4,700 a year in a federal pell grant (free money) sent to your school to help pay tuition.  Here is a good book about the different type of fin aid you might qualify for.  Not all of them are grants.  Some are loans.

  2. Welcome to the internet, scams abound. There is very little for "free" out there. Check with http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/
