Do you think that it's true, could there really be aliens and stuff there? Where is Area 51 at (if it exists!)?

  1. Yes, Area 51 does exist at Groom Lake, Nevada.  It was kept secret for many years.  Now the government admits its existence as a testing facility.  People are not allowed close to the base and some people believe it is a base involved in testing alien spacecraft.

Area 51 is a parcel of U.S. military-controlled land in southern Nevada, apparently containing a secret aircraft testing facility. It is also known as Watertown, Dreamland, Paradise Ranch, The Farm, The Box, and The Directorate for Development Plans Area, and simply Groom Lake. It is also famed as the subject of many UFO conspiracy theories.

The area is connected to the internal NTS road network, with paved roads leading both to Mercury to the Northwest and West to Yucca Flats. Leading northeast from the lake, Groom Lake Road (a wide, well-conditioned dirt road) runs through a pass in the Jumbled Hills. Groom Lake Road was formerly the track leading to mines in the Groom basin, but has been improved since their closure. Its winding course takes it past a security checkpoint, but the restricted area around the base extends further east than this (visitors foolhardy enough to travel west on Groom Lake Road are usually observed first by guards located on the hills surrounding the pass, still several miles from the checkpoint). After leaving the restricted area (marked by numerous warning signs stating that "photography is prohibited" and that "use of deadly force is authorized") Groom Lake Road descends eastward to the floor of the Tikaboo Valley, passing the dirt-road entrances to several small ranches, before joining with State Highway 375 south of Rachel.

Groom Lake is not a conventional airbase, and front-line units are not normally deployed there. It appears, rather, to be used during the development, test and training phases for new aircraft. Once those aircraft have been accepted by the USAF, operation of that aircraft is generally shifted to a normal airforce base. Groom is reported, however, to be the permanent home for a small number of aircraft of Soviet design (obtained by various means). These are reportedly analysed and used for training purposes.

  2. Yep, it's there all right.

No ET though.  Just lots of experimental jet aircraft and engines.

51 is where they tested the SR-71 recon aircraft back in the day, as well as the F117-A stealth fighter and the B-2 stealth bomber, different kinds of UAVs (the drones like we use n Afghanistan now), experimental engines like vectored thrust (making the engines point in different directions to increase the maneuverability of aircraft), and different configurations -airctaft and wing size, shap, and so forth.

All that experimental testing going on in secrecy, oddly-shaped things flying in ways you don't expect aircraft to fly, it's all testing equipment to see what works.   No little green men necessary.

  3. There is an army base there, but there isn't necessarily UFOs there, just stuff that they don't want the general public to know about, UFOs are just one of the things that might be there. Thats not to say that there is or there isn't.

  4. area 51 is in nevada, northwest of las vegas. you can look at it in google earth. it was officially secret until the 1990s, but the u.s. military now acknowledge its existence.

the exact details of what they do there are a closely guarded secret, but we know they test secret new aircraft there. they sometimes say so (f-117a, sr-71), but only long afterwards.

the alien stories are nonsense, suitable for fertilizing lawns.

  5. well i think there is because in new mexico there is a sign in the middle of nowhere that says 'No Tresspassing Tresspassers Will Be Prosecuted'

  6. yup, there sure is.  I'm sure there some really interesting stuff there.

  7. ya area 51 is real but its unkown if ther rewaly r aliens ther

  8. There sure is an Area 51.

How could anyone doubt its existance?

And, yes, there is a lot of super secret, hush-hush stuff going on there. Their activities are so secret that I cannot even

suggest them to you for fear of terrible consequences from

the various enforcement agencies of the US Government.

Area 51 is located right in between Area 50 and Area 52,

and just a short distance from Area 53. The property is owned by the US Government and allocated to the Department of Defense at this time. That part of the US

Government does not put up with to many shenanagans, so

I would mind my "P"s and "Q"s if you ever get in the immediate vicinity. Read and abide by all posted signs.

They are quite serious about their business. Tax Payers are

not permitted to see what their tax dollars purchased over the years.

  9. leave no room for doubt, it sure is. you can see it on google earth, in nevada. there's also an area 19, in ohio i guess. there are so many websites devoted to area 51. wat others have said is correct.

  10. Yes, there is a Area 51, but i highly doubt they keep anything top secret there because too many people know about it.

  11. I don't know about the supposed aliens and stuff but there certainly IS an area 51.Area 51 is a remote tract of land in the southwestern portion of southern Nevada in the western United States. Situated at its center, on the southern shore of a dry lakebed (salt lake), is a large military airfield, one of the most secretive places in the world. The base's primary purpose is to support development and testing of experimental aircraft and weapons systems
