  1. It really sucks but i guess when it happens again you won't feel as depressed.  It makes you tougher and more independent, helps you to focus on your own needs rather than worry about what others think.  Rejection sucks and it's a part of life but when you find a mutual loving relationship then all the ppl that blew you off will disappear.

  2. it is not good.

  3. It helps us examine ourselves, to try to understand how we might grow into a more interesting and attractive person.  That way, maybe the next one that comes along may not be "unrequited".

It also helps us to build strength of character by going on without having th love that we so desire.  It is sometimes better for us to NOT get what we want.  That can make us grow and mature.

When we do find the love that we seek, it will be much sweeter for having lost before.

  4. It teaches that you can't always have what you want.  That can rescue us from a lifetime of brathood.

  5. It teaches you what not to do next time lol!

  6. yeah there is one good thing  -  the dream never gets tainted by reality

  7. unrequited love is pain and suffering.

The only thing good about unrequited love is that it help you to loose weight because you will be so depress that you will lost all your appetite.

  8. No, I don't think so. Unrequited love always leaves you thinking. What would have happened if we had gotten together? This can be very distracting and can lead to things like depression.

That's why if you really love someone, you should tell them. Even if you are rejected, at least you know where they stand, and it is easier to forget.

  9. "it is better to have loved, and lost then never to have loved at all"..

not exactly the same as your question, but i think it can still be applied

  10. As far as my life experiences, the only positive thing I have found from unrequited love was creative inspiration. Aside from that, just the painful burning of desire...which is not good, unless you like pain. We have all been there, have hope :)

  11. Yes. When it's your turn to be loved, you will never take that special person for granted because you know what unrequited love feels.

  12. If you really LOVE the object of your unrequited love, I should think in a way it's just as beneficial as the requited variety.  It can be much more difficult to love someone who doesn't love you in return, and maybe from that positive aspects can arise as well.  And I suppose perhaps one might gain strength and character from the pain they suffer.

  13. ...you know who or what it is YOU LOVE...with a PASSION...

    ...all else is SECOND...
