Is there really f***s in meat?

I just saw the movie Fast Food Nation. I was wondering if there is really f***s in meat? I'm a little freaked out here.

  1. Depends, but if you eat a hot dog for example, it is made up of all the discards of meat that you would not normally eat unless stuck in a hot dog.

    Because it might contain intestines there is a chance of some f***s. But, f***s is not that bad, mostly things we can't digest and would go through our bodyanyway and some bacteria and worms that are klled by cooking.

    But yeah, if supplies are not keeping to health standards then the food could contain anything, for f***s to dead rats. Once it is processed how can you even know........

  3. Yes there is... and in your water too (up to 3% is allowable). So, sorry but no avoiding it.  Just realize that we all eat and drink this stuff every day so our bodies are conditioned to it and it's not enough to harm us...welcome to life as a human.  

  4. no way dont go to that guy for meat! buy fresh meat from a reputable butcher or supermarket outlet. processed meat and canned food with meat is full of salt and all sorts of addatives. some fresh meat and chicken is basicaly pumt up with water and preservatives so you should check it out ether from the labeling on the pack  or from the store manager. you pay more for organic meat & with no preservatives  or unenhansed in some way but its very rare that meat hasnt been treated in some way to make it last longer and keep fresh and even to make it look more than it realy is this will be vertualy unheard of in the worsening economical climates arround the world animal rites groups tend to spread malitiouse rumors about the condition of meat and the treatment of animals during before and after the process of meat a few maybe true but most are unfounded and rediculouse buy meat thats bred and produced localy its cheaper and fresher and even probably safer

  8. meat does not contain f***s, how ever it can be contaminated with f***s if the person who is butchering the meat is not cautious. When an animal is butchered, after it is killed, the first thing that is usually removed is the digestive tract which includes the stomach and intestines. Inside the stomach and intestines there is food at all different stages of digestion from undigested grass to f***s. If the people who do the butchering accidentally cut one of the intestines, and do not rinse the meat off and use clean facility to do the butchering than the meat can become contaminated with f***s. If meat becomes contaminated with f***s it causes food borne illness' such as E-coli. Most food borne illness can be killed through the cooking process. That is why it is important to cook meat completely.

       Also remember that f***s can only contaminate any surface of the meat that is exposed to the f***s....so if you under-cook a steak, the risk of getting E-coli is much less than if you were to have an undercooked hamburger which has much more exposed surface area due to the process of grinding up the meat.

        In all there is a chance that meat that you eat out of a store or restaurant could have some f***s, however it is unlikely. The best way to make sure that it does not make you sick is to cook your food well.

    Things like hot dogs and hamburgers are much more likely to contain f***s than, say, a steak or ribs.

    There are actually all sorts of disgusting and dangerous things that regularly make their way into meat.

    Because, when people eat undercooked meat, the truth about what's really in the meat is revealed in the from of tapeworms, Measles, Listeriosis, Salmonella, E. coli poisoning and various other ailments.

    Here's a quick list of things often found in meat:

    - Insects (often cockroach pieces)

    - Rat f***s and hair

    - Metal shavings

    - Urine

    - Vomit

    - f***s

    - Dirt

    - And, as mentioned above, tapeworms, E. coli bacteria, Listeria bacteria, Salmonella bacteria and Measles virus

    Meat from factory farms (where meat usually comes from) is far more likely to be contaminated than meat from farms with "grass fed cows and free roaming chickens".
