  1. Where did you hear that?  I havent heard that but i sure hope so! Just part 1 please. The rest are all downhill.

Yes, it is set for release in 2009.  Don Mancini (the original writer) is writing and directing the remake.  The original producer, David Kirschner, is also returning.  Kirschner has said that it will be very close to the original script, with some twists that the audience won't see coming. He also says it will be more terrifying.  I think it could be good.
