Is there really going to be a tornado in Toronto?

my sister told me that she heard her teacher say that there will be a tornado in Toronto. is it true? please tell me.......i'm really scared.

Very unlikely.  There have only been 11 tornados in the Toronto area since 1984.  Go to the link to see a map of the distribution of tornados in Ontario province.

well not today but it could happen in the future many surrounding communities have had tornado's hit them in very recent times Toronto even had a hurricane hit it it was called Hurricane Hazel some time in the 50's or 60's ask your grand parents they would know if the are from southern Ont
