Is there regular transatlantic boat service US-Europe besides Queen Mary and respositioning cruises?

Someone told me there is regular service but I have not found anything.

  1. Cruise lines, other than Cunard, that offer a transatlantic itinerary (US - Europe) include Royal Caribbean and NCL.

    Many depart from Miami or Fort Lauderdale and arrive at various European destinations such as Athens, Zeebrugge (Bruges) and Alicante. They also have various ports of call within their itinerary.

  2. Other than the freighter "cruises" there NO other option for regular trans-Atlantic service besides Queen Mary 2.

  3. Yes. However, besides the cruise ship repositioning between seasons; the transatlantic regular crossings are all done by freighters some of which do take on paying passengers.
