If so, why does it? Why doesn't the stress of vet bills outweigh the happiness?

  1. There are surveys and statistics to say that having pets helps you live longer. This states that it is true in the majority of cases.

This isn't the same thing as scientific proof, which would require an exact scientific explanation of why it happens.

  2. My dog is at the vets today having a dental. They cannot give me a price until after the treatment.

I am thinking how hard I am going to have to work to pay for it all.

I think it will take a couple of years off my life in the long run.

    So NO is my answer.

  3. If you wanted the entity, if you are teaching it to read and spend time nuturing it, it might give you a reason to stick around, left of centre is not negative.

  4. Common Sense is all you need.

Animals are very positive on a persons life...Humans stress each other out.

  5. you can make you own conclusion about your first question after you read this statement."They found that the relative risk of death among pet owners was 0.2 after one year, meaning that the chance of these folks dying during that interval was only 20% as great as that for non-pet owners. Put another way, the pet owners were five times more likely to survive that first year than those who were petless."

  6. Only if you live alone. It's because you're happy and feel love. Bills don't really matter to you when it's to look after someone you love. (bare in mind that it only helps you live longer if you love your pet) It also gives you something to live for. I have heard of many cases, and my grandad is living proof that if you think you have something to live for you can make your body live through anything (he has multiple diseases, can barely walk, finds it hard to breathe, has had pneumonia twice, a number of heart attacks, needs to have blood transfusions every week but is still enjoying his life- because he wants to)

  7. Well

When you get attached to an animal your relationship matters more than any amount of money

  8. um i dont think so but if ur eatingright and getting the right amount of exersize and not smoking then a pet wouldnt make a diffrence reali you would still livelonger than some one who smoke 50 ciggies a day and hardly excersises and not eatin healthy evenif they had a pet

  9. there is evidence that you are healthier with a pet. so what you may fork out for the vet, you dont have to fork out for the doctor.
