Is there smoking on a Disney Cruise ship?

No ships allow smoking EXCEPT in certain areas.

Some cruise lines ( Carnival ) allow smoking in rooms with balconies...but you can only smoke on balcony.

Each year I take two cruises; 1 of which is always a Disney Cruise and every year I travel with my mother and my daughter. My mom is an ardent smoker and I'm a non smoker. She takes her smoking as serious as a heart attack. Which she just recently had by the way but that didn't stop the puffing. If there is any place you can smoke on the ship trust me she found it.

1- You can NOT smoke in your stateroom! Only on the veranda. Therefore, opt for a balcony unless you want to be inconvenienced by having to walk to a designated smoking area. Besides, your overall cruise will be much more enjoyable, the space,fresh air, and the view is worth the extra $$.

2- On open decks (except near Mickey's Pool)

Where You Can Smoke: Smoking is permitted on the open decks (except near Mickey's Pool), cabin balconies, Diversions, Sessions on Disney Magic and Route 66 on Disney Wonder.

Where You Can't: Smoking is prohibited in all other indoor areas, including cabins.
