Is there some kind of adapter that can connect car subs to a computer?

I have some old car subs. But I don't have a car. Is there an adadpter that can connect the wires to my computer so i can play music through them?

i wired my car speakers to an old cd player.  i just took apart the speakers, stripped the wires twisted them into the cd player wires,  it was easy, but remember you'll need a speaker box, plus you may not get the sound you want because your computer probably does not pump out the amp that your car does.  good luck
