Is there some kind of giant fountain going in galway bay,ireland?

i thought i heard it on the telly. is it true or was that a dream???

Supposed to be something like in switzerland, has been proposed might get the go ahead

no dream - it's proposed but not confirmed. i think the idea is copied from syria. i lived in galway for 6 years. i miss it now, so i still read http://www.galwayadvertiser.com - that's where i read about the fountain.

no this is in city centre in the main park called "eyre Square" its not much to look at but its meant to resemble the sails on the galway crest x
