  1. No vaccine is mandatory & your child absolutely does not have to have them to get in school. You can get an exemption for that.

  2. It might vary by state but here in Wisconsin you aren't forced to immunize your kids. For school all kids have to either be up to date with their shots or you have to sign a personal conviction/religious statement explaining why you don't want your child to have them. Once you supply either a shot record or a signed statement you're good to go.

  3. I am not sure if there is a law but I do know that your child will not be permitted to go into school without all of the shots being up to date. Also if social services for some reason gets involved they will make you get them their shots.

  4. Public schools require that your child have certain vaccinations prior to attending school UNLESS you have a religious objection. Vaccinations are important to prevent the resurgence of diseases that no longer pose a hazard to our current population. IE polio, whooping cough, mumps, etc.

  5. Its immunize, babies arent puppies....No this is a totally parental decision but if you want them to attend public school they have to have a select few.

If you decide not to immunize and then in a year want to immunize them dont double up. There have been tests that say that doubling up causes autism.....IT HASNT been proven but studies have been made.

I immunized both my kids because I was afraid of them getting sick all the time so I cant tell you if NOT immunizing them is okay or not. Ask a few doctors for their opinions.

  6. There is no law mandating mandatory vaccinations for children or adults.  Children DO NOT have to be vaccinated to attend public school.   Each state has its own process allowing children who are not vaccinated to attend school.  It is easy to do.  Just google it.

  7. There is no law, only a recommendation. You can opt out if you wish. Check the recommendations for your state.

  8. No.  In the United States, the only laws are for entering school.  All states except Mississippi and West Virginia allow for exemptions to vaccine requirements for school entry.  In Mississippi and West Virginia you need to homeschool if you don't want to vaccinate your kids.  Any other state you can get an exemption, although New York can be tricky.

  9. There are guidelines that each state has, and the public school system may require these shots for your child to enter school.

With that said you can get exemtions for religious, medical, or personal reasons
