I heard that if you get a teaching degree in WV, they will pay for your tuition if you stay and teach in the state for a certain number of years. Is this true at all? more information?

  1. Based on the website of http://wvhepcnew.wvnet.edu/index.php?opt... , you must not only stay in WV, but be a WV resident to start with.  If you fit that scenario, that is certainly one avenue.  Almost every state has "some" sort of scholarship program for in state residents to get free money for school provided they take the classes in state.  Remaining in the state to work is a plus for the state, obviously.

Listed below are further research options for obtaining scholarship and Grant money for education.  Good luck.

It looks like they don't pay all your tuition, but it would still help out.
