Is there some trick or product that helps hair growth on a horses mane ?

I have a show comming up in 2 months and my mare rubbed her mane out on the stall rails (when she poked her head thru). I already remedied the problen from ever happening again by installing V-Wire around her entire stall, but now I need to fix the bald spot in her mane. I am hoping for some hair growth suppliment, or something to spray on. what ever you have tried and has worked greatly. All help appreciated.

MTG does work well, kinda oily though. Her mane won't be completly grown in by the time of your show, though.

Hopefully it's not a large bald spot that can be hidden when you braid or band.

Or you could buy mane extensions...

My sister used MTG on her mares mane because the people we got her from (shame on them) had trimmed it and it looked terrible. She followed the directions on the bottle and she had a beautiful mane in a month or two so it should work for your time line. It also made it grow really strong.

The M-T-G and some good grooming to stimulate the follicles.  I couldn't believe how fast my mare's mane grew out.   Two months made a huge difference.

M-T-G is oily but shake it well before you apply.

Shapley's M-T-G formula works great for a number of problems, including hair growth-so even when her hair grows back you can use it for other things. You can find it at most horsey supply stores. Also try massaabing the roots to help stimulate growth

MTG does work well. Feed some flaxseed oil. Nothing is going to be a quick fix.  Maybe practice how to put in braids so it will not stand out so much.

MTG is all well and good but hair growth begins on the INSIDE.  Good nutrition with supplements to aid hoof and hair growth are the key.

MTG formula works well.  It will take some time no matter what you do.  Hopefully you can camoflauge the spot by braiding or banding the mane.
