Is there something fishy about help wanted ads that don't include the business' name???

If they give you the number to which you should fax your resume, but no business name, should you beware of replying?

Yes with so many people stilling identities.  They will use your information to get a job elsewhere.

To be honest, beware of most jobs posted in today's time.  Most are posted as a way to pretend that the economy is better than what it is but the jobs really do not exist.

I am trying to help some of the students that come around my place and even when we know people at certain companies that have posted ads, we have found that the jobs are either on hold, there is a hiring freeze, or the jobs were never really available; yet, the companies are posting them as if the jobs just opened up yesterday.
