Is there something house flies are attracted to that kills them?

We've had our door open on and off for a couple days. Now there's about 20 flies in our house. I caught a few with the vacuum cleaner but it's waay too hard. Is there any thing flies are attracted to that will kill them the way beer attracts slugs and they die?

Yes.  Get flypaper, or flypaper strips.  You can hang the strips and the stick to it and die.  Hang them wherever you have the flies.  There are directions on the box.

If you can't get them at the grocery store, try a home improvement or garden center.  My local grocery carries the tape strips.
