  1. Who is to say if something is universal?

In my opinion, even if the brain of every human who has existed, does exist, or will exist recognizes something as "Universal" it isn't.

It will still be a localized phenomenon of the HUMAN brain.

  2. Identify it, and you'll win the Nobel Prize.

  3. Yes, after years of exposure  to the same concepts, principles, truths, laws or rules whether scientific, technical or general.  Esp if one comes across them so frequently in conversations, books, magazines and the daily papers; so without a doubt they are 'universals'and  one cannot argue against them. That's the mark of any civilized society.

  4. Yes, because it's the brain that forms universals.  Universals are concepts.

  5. Yes I think so :)))

  6. Is anything really universal?  I doubt it. Perhaps there is a greater likelihood of certain things, but there is nothing universal.
