  1. Caffeine, sugar, corn syrup plus chemicals. Not only that, the phosphoric acid in all carbonated beverages leaches calcium from your bones. In order for your body to process the phosphoric acid, it must pull calcium from your bones to equalize it.

  2. yeah, sugar

  3. yeah. CAFFEINE!! if you get too addicted you can get seriouss headaches if you dont drink it everyday, so lay off the caffeine before you get really addicted. drink sprite of caffeine free coke.

  4. Yeah its caffeine plus it's yummy

  5. Everything can be addicting. Addiction to caffeine is a common addiction, whether it me to coffee, pop, or anything else.

If you constantly crave pop itself, you may want to limit yourself to one glass/can/bottle a day.

If you just crave something to drink, try lemonade or juice ^^

  6. yep! caffeine, plus that really good taste

  7. Yes.. its called caffeine.. its whats in coffee, some teas, and all soft drinks... its a very addictive chemical.

  8. Sugar and caffeine are both two addictive compounds. If your body is used to getting say two cokes a day, then you go a day without one, You will beging to get some withdrawal symptoms and start craving it. No where near as severe as illegal drug withdrawal symptoms.

Although sometimes you just may crave a soda. When I was pregnant, towards the end I craved wild cherry pepsi. I hate that soda yet I just felt a need to have it.

  9. you may addicted to all the caffeine, especially if you're drinking coke or pepsi.  They have more caffeine than coffee.  Try drinking Sprite or 7-Up instead

  10. Sugar, it affects more people than caffine.

Women who drink more than one can of sugar-filled soda a day might be increasing their chances of developing diabetes along with gaining weight.

A study showed that women who drank the minimum of one soda each day could increase their likelihood of developing type 2 diabetes by 85 percent over the women who drank less than one can a day.

Along with increasing the risk for diabetes, the high sugar and calorie content contained in sodas were also found to compound the risk of developing other chronic diseases such as obesity. These findings led researchers to believe the sugar found in soda and energy drinks could result in an overabundance of energy, which could trigger obesity and the packing on of extra pounds.

  11. Caffeine makes it addicting.

random fact: Years ago, Coca-cola had cocaine in it. That's what probably made it addicting then.
