Is there something inexpensive around the house that I could use to dye the grout in my bathroom tile?

The grout was stained around the toilet and I have tried every thing to get out the stains with no results. I don't have the money to buy expensive dyes so I was wondering if regular furniture stain or shoe polish or something like that would work. I have the sealer that I didn't get down before it was stained.

they make a grout stain which is available through your local tile distributor that isn't very expensive and is the proper way to change the color of your grout.  if it is a small area at your toilet, then just one bottle would be sufficient.  read the directions and it shouldn't be too difficult.  i wouldn't trust furniture polish or a sharpie, and shoe polish just sounds horrible.  good luck.

HEY,,YEA  U  CAN USE ANY OF  THOSE THINGS,,,BUT  GET  IT OFF THE  TILE AS QUICK   AS U CAN,,OR  GET  A SMALL BRUSH,,AND CAREFULLY PAINT IT ON THE GROUT,,,ANOTHER THING IS WHAT COLOR THE GROUT IS  NOW,,YOU WANT  SOMETHING  DARKER  THAT IT IS,,  HEY  IF YOU LIKE THE COLOR OF THE GROUT,,,SIMPLY     DIG OUT THE STAINED  GROUT,,,RE GROUT WITH CORRECT  COLOR,,,AND  SEAL THE WHOLE THING  THE NEXT DAY,,DONT WAIT  FOR IT TO GIT STAINED AGIN,,,,,,,  HEY  THAT  S THE BEST THING TO DO,,,
