Can you purchase something to cover the hole in the wall upon removing your wood stove from the room, where the pipe was?

  1. My Neighbor did this same thing, and ended up putting a nice looking octagon window in its place. The HOA in our neighborhood wouldnt let him put an addition on his house because he had a regular metal stove pipe running up the side of his house and apparently they thought he needed to build a chimney around it, so he got pissed, ripped out the pipe, trashed the stove, and installed a window in its place.


  2. Any shop that sells wood stoves has them, they look like the underside of a paper plate but they're metal. They have springs inside to hold itself in, I can't remember what they're called but that's the one.

  3. If the stove is gone for good, repair the wall. Use drywall or plaster depending on what your wall are made of. "Cover plates" look cheap and if you ever go to sell the house the buyers wont like it.

  4. If u want it to look like it was never there, glue a circle of tin foil  (alfoil) over it then wallpaper the wall. If the hole goes to the outside, cover that with something weather-proof and durable that looks neat.
