Is there something still wrong with my elbow?

ok, i broke my elbow 5 weeks ago from pitching, i broke it because of a growth plate in my elbow, so i had my cast on for 4 weeks and i got it off 3 days ago, its not broken anymore but i cant extend my arm fully straight, i couldnt extend it before i got my cast on which is understandable but i was wondering if theres still something wrong with my elbow like a nerve or vein is misplace cuz thats what it feels like, or do i just need another week for it to heal more and then ill be able to extend my arm straight? please help me fall baseball is coming up and i really want to play

  1. This could be still as a result of your elbow trying to heal.  The area can be still for a while coming out of a cast.  When coming out of the cast the muscles become weaker because the cast is trying to hold everything in place so that the break can heal.

    (I had something like this happen to me when I had surgery as a kid on my foot.)

    I would also recommend letting your doctor know what's going on so that they can evaluate this situation further.
