Is there something that we use in the household that would work to clean a tanning bed?

Unplug the unit before doing any cleaning !!!!!! Use a spray bottle water to which you have added a couple of tbsp of bleach.Spray lightly and wipe down the acrylic with a soft cloth. Let dry.Never use soap or anything with an oil in it.It will cloud the acrylic.

You can use alcholo and peroxide with more of each than water can also use straight but don't get on wires  make sure glass plastic has no cracks or broken spots

If it's a lay-down bed, I would recommend distilled white vinegar and water mixed 50/50. Only use this solution if where you lay is glass.
