Yes, there are artificial hormones your doctor can give you to give you what you are lacking and/or balance what you may have too much of. I had a blood test done by a doctor to determine my hormone levels and she said I was lacking progesterone. Once I starting taking progesterone, I was no longer the wicked witch of the west lol. Being on the low dose birth control pill can help too, even if you aren't having s*x. Birth control pills are hormones.
