  1. the reason you shake is because your body is preparing your body for a shock...like being embarrassed it also releases Adrenalin when you feel threatened (for example if you are about to fight some one) so because you are just standing there your body is tripping out on the energy you aren't using so you shake.... its very normal... the only way to stop it is to get more comfortable with public speaking... which will only ever happen if you do it more...

  2. I'm the same way. And I hate it.

Don't know about you but I really dislike being so self conscious.

Confidence is often key and when you don't have enough you become a nervous mess in front of people.

You (and I both) need to realize that everybody could be in our place and that there's nothing to be truly embarrassed about, even if you mess up.

  3. i have the same problems, i always found that at high school and even uni out of all places they'll still laugh at you. u need to accept it. and realize it wont make you a bad public speaker if the class laughs at you.

  4. What happened to you is probably the most common cause of nervousness in students around the world. My strategy is to imagine that I'm speaking to them individually, rather than as a group.

  5. Nothing wrong. Most people go through the same.

Prepare yourself well before your next reports, make sure you have gone through all details and gradually nervousness will disappear.
